In footsteps of Naantali tradition!
There is a long history of accomodating tourists at private homes in the Naantali Old Town. Already in the 19th century when the spa business was flourishing, citizens of Naantali took guests to their own homes and cottages in the courtyards in the summertime. In the footsteps of this tradition are we providing tourists with homelike rooms and breakfast at Palo's Guesthouse.
The location of our Guesthouse is ideal: by the sea in the Old Town within walking distance to the Moominworld and the restaurants and bars. On the other hand, the street Rantakatu is rather peaceful even during the high-season of summer. Thus we can offer quiet nights and safe playground for children all year round. Cosy rooms, warm sauna and more...
On top of the bed and breakfast, all our guests have the possibilty to experience a somewhat unusual sauna. In the middle of the courtyard there is a loft sauna which is really worth trying!
For many people, a visit to Naantali is "a must" every summer - year after year. Naantali really has something to give for everyone: the Moominworld for the small children, the Vaski Island for schoolkids, and of course the charming Old Town with its cafes, bars and restaurants for the elderly. There is also many festivals and events in Naantali during the year, which are listed on the web pages of Naantali Tourist Office.
However, one should not forget that a trip to Naantali in the wintertime also pays off. The wooden Old Town covered with snow is worth experiencing: peaceful surrondings for relaxation: hiking, skateing and skiing on the sea ice - for example. And not to mention the off-season low prices!
